COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Police in northern Idaho say they are investigating a dead body found in a small brush fire.

Officials say flames began burning east of Coeur d’Alene near Interstate 90 around 3 a.m. Thursday. The body was found several hours later when firefighters started putting out the flames.

Coeur d’Alene Police Sgt. Christie Wood says the origin of the fire has not yet been determined.

No information about the body has been released.
