RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Most of Virginia is under a flash flood watch.
The National Weather Service issued the watch from Friday morning through Saturday evening.
The weather service says 2 to 4 inches of rain are expected to fall on already saturated ground. Small streams and poor-drainage areas could see rapid water rises, while mudslides are possible along steep terrain.
The watch area excludes extreme southwestern Virginia.
