PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Officials say a man in his 20s was hospitalized after he was hit by a train in Philadelphia.

A Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority spokeswoman says the man was crossing the outbound tracks at the Fern Rock Transportation Center Wednesday night when he was hit by the train as he was pulling himself on the platform.

The man was taken to Einstein Medical Center. His identity has not been released and his condition is unknown.
