RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - More Republican presidential hopefuls are rolling out their campaign’s leading political supporters for their bids in North Carolina.

Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio’s campaign announced Thursday that state Rep. Jason Saine of Lincolnton and state Sen. Andrew Brock of Mocksville will be co-chairs of his North Carolina campaign.

Saine is a senior chairman of the House Finance Committee, while Brock is a co-chairman of the Senate agriculture panel.

Earlier this week, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee named his state campaign chairmen as former U.S. Rep. Charles Taylor of Transylvania County and the Rev. Mark Harris of Charlotte. Harris ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Senate last year.

The North Carolina presidential primary will be March 15 after Gov. Pat McCrory signed a bill Wednesday changing the primary date.
