ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Police in Albuquerque say one person was shot overnight but is expected to survive.

Police spokesman Fred Duran says officers in the southeast part the city responded to reports of shots fired around 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

They found the victim with a single gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Duran says the victim was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have a person of interest in custody who is being questioned.



Duran did not release further details.
