SAN DIEGO (AP) - Authorities say two burned bodies have been found inside a home destroyed by fire in eastern San Diego County.

Sheriff’s officials say two other people were able to escape with minor injuries from the blaze early Saturday in the Alpine area.

Firefighters arrived at about 1 a.m. to find the house fully engulfed.



The victims have not been identified.

The Los Angeles Times says (https://lat.ms/1FY6WpR ) the cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Alpine is about 30 miles east of downtown San Diego.
