LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) - Police say a Lake Havasu City man has been charged after accidentally fatally shooting his friend.

Lake Havasu City police say officers were called to reports of a shooting at a home Friday just before 9 p.m.

Officers found 26-year-old Kristopher Setser lying on a bedroom floor with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Setser was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators questioned two people present in the home, including 22-year-old Eric Huffman.

Police say they learned Huffman was handling a pistol when it went off, resulting in Setser’s wound.

Huffman has been booked on a charge of manslaughter.

He was ordered held by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office on no bond Saturday.

Police say alcohol was a factor in the shooting.
