PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - The company that operates the Maine-to-Nova Scotia ferry service says it’s canceling some of its voyages due to high winds.

The company says the Nova Star ferry boat is unable to enter the port of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia until Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m.

The Saturday daytime voyage from Nova Scotia and the overnight crossing Saturday night from Maine have been canceled.

The company says regularly scheduled service will resume on Sunday morning from Nova Scotia.
