WASHINGTON (AP) - Taste of DC is taking over four blocks of Pennsylvania Avenue.

The food festival is taking place Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. The event includes more than 50 Washington-area restaurants that are all serving items from their menus. There are also more than 50 beers and 50 wines available for tasting as well as music and chef demonstrations. On Saturday at 3 p.m. is the fifth annual Ben’s Chili Bowl’s World Chili Eating Championship. First prize is $1,750.

General admission to the festival for adults is $20.
