NEWBERG, Ore. (AP) - Rescuers used concrete drills and jack hammers to free an employee whose arm got caught in a floor drain at a Fred Meyer store in Newberg.

The woman got her entire arm stuck down to the armpit while trying to fish a broom handle from the drain Saturday. She tried for 20 minutes to free herself before calling for help.

KGW-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1RBBTkC ) that Newberg firefighters were unable to free her using oil and soap, so they called in a technical rescue team from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.

The 24-year-old woman was trapped for more than two hours. She was taken to a hospital to have her arm checked for injuries.
