NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Police say a man has been arrested for a hit-and-run in suburban Atlanta.

WSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1K20PLV ) that Hakeem Temple was arrested Saturday night after the death of 28-year-old Amber Harding.

Police say they believe the woman killed hit-and-run Tuesday night on a Norcross-area street was crossing against an illuminated “don’t walk” sign. The car described as a gold, four-dour Honda Civic hit Harding and drove off.

Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera says both shared responsibility in the incident. But the driver of the vehicle has an obligation to “stay render” no matter the fault.
