MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A Metro Transit bus driver is accused of refusing to let a teenage girl off the bus and demanding that she perform a sex act on him.
Thirty-two-year-old Mahmud Dabshir Aden of Minneapolis was arrested Wednesday, the day after the 16-year-old girl filed a complaint about the Oct. 5 incident.
The Star Tribune (https://strib.mn/1QiQmRu ) reports Aden was charged with soliciting for prostitution, a felony. He is being held pending his next court appearance Monday.
According to the complaint, Aden refused to let the girl off at her stop, continuing his route.
The complaint says Aden turned off the lights and exposed himself, after telling the girl he would give her $100 and a cellphone if she performed a sexual act on him.
It was unclear if Aden has an attorney.
