LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - The University of Wyoming continues to expand the ways people can stay informed about the state’s only public, four-year university.
UW has started offering a weekly podcast called “The University of Wyoming Today.”
UW spokesman Chad Baldwin says the podcast provides a new platform to inform everyone about some of the people, research and activities at the university.
He says it also offers a vehicle to personalize UW stories in a way that can’t be accomplished through traditional media releases. Listeners have an opportunity to hear newsmakers discussing their work in their own words.
Additionally, listeners can subscribe to the podcasts through an RSS feed, allowing them to listen at their own convenience on their phones, computers and tablets.
The podcast is available through the college’s website.
