DECATUR, Ga. (AP) - A baby is in critical condition and three other people have been injured after being shot in a breezeway at a DeKalb County apartment complex.

Police told multiple media outlets that the shooting happened Monday evening, and that they have no one in custody yet. DeKalb Police Spokesman Cornelius Yarbro says the suspect walked into the breezeway at the Austin Oaks apartments, located on Glenwood Avenue in Decatur, and started shooting. The gunman fled the area on foot.

Three adults were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the lower extremities. Yarbro says their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. A boy believed to be around one year old was taken in critical condition to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, where he underwent surgery late Monday.
