BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a man who was fatally shot at a home in Billings.

Yellowstone County Deputy Coroner Cliff Mahoney identified the victim Monday as 52-year-old Mark Joseph Kirby, of Billings. Police were called to a home in the southwestern part of the city early Saturday morning and found Kirby with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://goo.gl/pdDlcT ) he died at the scene, and police arrested 62-year-old Jose Pedro Cobos on suspicion of negligent homicide.

Investigators have not said what led to the shooting, and booking documents do not indicate if Cobos has hired an attorney.
