DETROIT (AP) - Teams of top-performing managers from JPMorgan Chase will spend the next three weeks working with Detroit nonprofits.

The Detroit Service Corps begins Monday at Eastern Market, EcoWorks, Greening of Detroit and TechTown.

Work will include creation of an organization to develop mixed-use projects, and business plans for reclaimed materials and a landscaping social enterprise.

One team will build a proposal to connect brick and mortar businesses in neighborhoods with technical assistance.

The managers will work in teams of three people through Oct. 30. The program runs through 2018. It’s part of JPMorgan Chase’s plans to spend $100 million over five years in Detroit to support and accelerate the city’s economic recovery.

Previous teams were deployed to Detroit in November 2014 and May 2015.
