ASHLAND, N.H. (AP) - State Police say two motorcyclists were clocked going 118 mph on a highway in central New Hampshire.

Trooper Charles George was patrolling Interstate 93 in Ashland around 1:30 Monday afternoon when he saw two bikes speeding toward him. He recorded their speed at 118 mph in the 70 mph zone.

George stopped the two men and ticketed them for reckless driving.

Twenty-six-year old Christopher Grant of Manchester and 25-year-old Brandon Clark of Weare were released and are scheduled to return to court in November.

A message left at a number listed in Grant’s name was not immediately returned Monday. A number for Clark could not be found.
