PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police have been searching for a suspect who stabbed two teenage boys, one critically.

Police say the incident happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Sunday in South Philadelphia.

Police say the 14-year-old was stabbed in the left side of the back and was in stable condition at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. A 16-year-old boy was more seriously hurt. He was in critical condition at the same hospital with a stab wound in the right side of his neck.

Police say the victims know the suspect, whom police did not immediately name.

They continued to search for that person Monday.

Police didn’t find a weapon at the scene.
