PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A youth wrestling coach who has worked with hundreds of children has pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of sexually abusing boys ages 10 to 13.

The Oregonian reports (https://goo.gl/BGnbta ) 25-year-old Wyatt DeRemer pleaded not guilty Monday to a 10-count indictment related to abusing four boys between 2007 and 2012.

DeRemer is being held in Portland jail on $2.5 million bail.

Court documents say that in an interview with Gresham police, DeRemer initially denied the allegations but then acknowledged they occurred.

The Gresham-Barlow School District has said DeRemer served as a coach at Gresham High last school year and has also worked with wrestlers at the middle-school level.

The police investigation began when parents of a high school student reported the coach had inappropriate contact with their son.
