LAS VEGAS (AP) - A couple in Louisiana are awaiting extradition in the case of a woman whose body was found stuffed in a duffel bag in a water meter vault in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police said Tuesday that 23-year old Veronica Houck and 33-year old Jamar Webb were arrested in Minden, Louisiana.

Webb was an acquaintance of 71-year-old Young Suk Sanchez, whose decomposed body was found by a utility worker Sept. 22 wedged into a water district valve locker with a broken lock on the cover.

Webb and Houck are dating.

Houck faces charges of murder, robbery, kidnapping and conspiracy.

Webb faces charges of burglary, conspiracy, and possession and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Officials said a hand was seen near a large complex of extended-stay suites, southeast of downtown Vegas.
