SANTA TERESA, N.M. (AP) - Dona Ana County authorities say the body of a man who apparently jumped, fell or was thrown from a train has been found on railroad tracks near a Union Pacific facility in Santa Teresa.

The Sheriff’s Department says a railroad employee discovered the body Monday night.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released.

The Sheriff’s Department said an initial investigation indicates the man was a Mexican national with ties to Los Angeles.
