PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - The National Energy Technology Laboratory in Albany was evacuated because of a bomb threat, but no explosives were found.

U.S. Department of Energy spokeswoman Shelley Martin says the threat was received Tuesday morning.

The Albany Police Department says a bomb squad searched the location as a precaution.

There were no injuries.

Albany is 70 miles south of Portland.
