GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Guilford County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a restaurant delivery man earlier this week.

Multiple media outlets reported that 21-year-old Jeremy Alexander Carter of Greensboro is charged with first-degree murder charge.

Thirty-year-old Bakri Khidir Mohamed Khidir of Greensboro was shot to death shortly before 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Capt. George Moore says someone called Olivia’s Italian Restaurant and placed an order to be delivered to what turned out to be a vacant house.

Moore said investigators have not determined whether Khidir was robbed when he was shot. Khidir was pronounced dead at the scene. His car was still at the house.

It was not clear if Carter has a lawyer.
