LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A Lincoln woman has been accused of embezzling more than $39,000 while working as director of a day care center.

Online court records say 32-year-old Melissa Schulz is charged with felony theft. Online court records don’t list the name of an attorney who could be contacted to comment on her behalf.

The records say Schulz took the money between Jan. 6, 2012, and May 22, 2014.
