BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities have released the names of two men who were killed in a weekend fire at an apartment building in Buffalo.

Officials say 64-year-old James Hodges and 58-year-old Edward Hughes died when the blaze swept through a rooming house on Curtiss Street around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

The man who manages the building for his nephew told WGRZ-TV that 10 people lived in the building. The others got out safely.

The building is scheduled for demolition on Tuesday.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
