COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham’s office is hosting a disaster assistance forum to connect flood victims with officials who can assist them.

Graham spokesman Kevin Bishop says Wednesday’s forum is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Columbia Convention Center at 1101 Lincoln St. in Columbia.

Torrential rains and flooding last week devastated large sections of the state’s capital and suburbs.

Federal agencies expected to be represented include the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Small Business Administration.

State agencies expected to attend include the South Carolina Department of Insurance, the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce and the South Carolina Emergency Management Division.
