GOLD BAR, Wash. (AP) - The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network says a small earthquake has been recorded about 50 miles northeast of Seattle.

The 2.9 magnitude quake hit at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday and was centered about seven miles northeast of Gold Bar.

KCPQ-TV reports (https://goo.gl/JnsYfP ) that people in Gold Bar and Sultan along U.S. Highway 2 say they felt it.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
