SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - A central New York doctor accused of raping a patient during an office visit is facing new charges he sexually abused another patient during a medical appointment.

Dr. Dilip Roy of Baldwinsville turned himself in to state police in Fulton on Tuesday. He’s charged with one count of forcible touching and one count of third-degree sexual abuse. Roy is accused of touching intimate areas of the patient in a sexual manner during an appointment in February.

Roy was charged in May with third-degree rape after a 25-year-old female patient said she was subjected to unwanted sexual intercourse during an office visit.

The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports (https://bit.ly/1jmVmuh ) Roy turned in his medical license last month after the state Board for Professional Medical Conduct charged him with professional misconduct.
