LANCASTER, Texas (AP) - One person was injured when a small airplane clipped a power line two miles south of a regional airport in the Dallas suburb of Lancaster.

The single-engine SR-22 aircraft hit the power line about 7 p.m. Friday, starting a grass fire.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunford said the two people in the plane survived, but the passenger was injured in the crash and taken to an area hospital.

The Lancaster fire department was working to control the fire.
