NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) - New Britain police are investigating after three people were shot.
All are expected to survive after the shooting, which happened early Sunday.
Police say emergency crews were called at 3:26 a.m. to respond to the area of Chestnut Street and Columbus Boulevard on a report of a male being shot. He was found in a vehicle and taken to an emergency room.
Around the same time, the Hospital of Central Connecticut called to say two other people who had apparently been shot had arrived at the emergency room by a private car.
Police say they determined all three were shot at the same location.
They have not released the victims’ names.
The investigation is ongoing.
