Kearny man killed in parkway crash in south Jersey

LITTLE EGG HARBOR, N.J. (AP) - State Police say a Kearny man died when his car ran off the Garden State Parkway and struck a tree in Little Egg Harbor.

The accident happened just before 5 a.m. Monday.

Sgt. Jeffrey Flynn tells the Asbury Park Press (https://on.app.com/1LGdNog ) the preliminary investigation indicates 25-year-old Ryan Steel was in the left lane and his car ran off the right side of the highway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
