BOSTON (AP) - Police at Boston University are looking for a man after a student says she was sexually assaulted in her dorm room.

The female student told police that a man entered her dorm room in Student Village II early Sunday morning and sexually assaulted her.

Police say the student did not know her attacker. The suspect fled the scene and his location is currently unknown.

Students say a student ID is required in order to enter a residence hall and guests must be signed in.

Boston University police are asking students to keep their doors locked at all times and report any suspicious activity.

A university spokesman says police do not believe there is a danger to the public.
