A victory for Eastern Michigan would represent maybe the biggest win in school history. LSU gets its first tuneup game after its opener against McNeese State was cancelled by weather.


Eastern Michigan’s struggling run defense, which has allowed 383.2 yards per game on the ground this season, vs. LSU’s deep and powerful running game, which is led by Heisman Trophy candidate Leonard Fournette. The Tigers have averaged 315 yards rushing per game.


Eastern Michigan: RB Darius Jackson leads the MAC with 103 yards rushing per game.

LSU: Fournette has already rushed for 631 yards and eight TDs.
