ERIE, Pa. (AP) - The Erie Zoo’s lynx triplets are finally on display, the first cubs at the zoo since 1971.

The Erie Times-News (https://bit.ly/1KQIPbp) says the cubs were first displayed Thursday.

They were born June 30 to Martina and her partner, Russell, who arrived in Erie from a zoo in Quebec last year. That marked the first time the zoo has had adult lynx since the mid-1960s and last week’s birth is the first time the zoo has played host to lynx cubs since 1971.

The cubs, a female named Nuka and brothers Nome and Sitka will be on display except during severe weather.
