SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - A former Chatham County deputy sheriff lieutenant has been sentenced to 15 years in state prison after pleading guilty to child molestation charges.

The Savannah Morning News ( ) reports Richard Adam Hall pleaded guilty Friday to a 25-count indictment charging him with child molestation and related charges.

The 53-year-old Hall’s sentence resulted from a plea negotiated between prosecutors and defense attorney Richard Darden. The charges in the indictment involve four separate victims between February 2006 and November 2010.

His 15-year sentence is concurrent to a 17-year federal sentence he received on Sept. 21. In that case, Hall pleaded guilty to producing child pornography.

Hall, who was a deputy sheriff for 28 years, was arrested in December 2013 and has remained in custody since then. He was fired in March 2014.
