LAKE GROVE, N.Y. (AP) - Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman inside her Long Island house.

Police say the woman’s body was discovered at about 2 p.m. Thursday at the Win Place home in Lake Grove. The officers were responding to a 911 call from the home.

Suffolk police say a resident at the house was interviewed and released. Police say they don’t believe that person was a witness.

Detective Lt. Kevin Beyrer tells Newsday (https://nwsdy.li/1FLVb5g ) that police believe it is an isolated incident and not a random crime. There have been no arrests.

Beyrer says two adults and five children lived in the house.

He did not identify the victim or provide other details.
