PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police are investigating after an elementary school student found nearly three dozen bullets on the floor of her classroom in Philadelphia.
Officials say a fifth-grader found the bag of 9mm bullets in her classroom at James Rhoads Elementary school last week. She informed her teacher and the school then notified police.
WCAU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1GQqhE5 ) that police still don’t know who the bullets belong to or how they got there.
A spokeswoman says students have brought guns and other dangerous items to the school in the past.
