TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man has pleaded guilty to death by auto in a fatal Father’s Day crash that killed a Trenton man and his 4-year-old daughter.

NJ.com reports (https://bit.ly/1W5FbgV ) Manuel Vazquez also pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges related to injuries Jorge DeLeon’s son sustained in the crash.

A plea agreement calls for Vasquez to serve two consecutive, five-year terms for the death by auto convictions and a concurrent four-year term for assault by auto.

Authorities said Vasquez was driving on the wrong side of the road when he slammed into DeLeon’s car on the morning of June 16, 2013.

DeLeon was pronounced dead at the scene. His daughter died at a Philadelphia hospital.



Vasquez is scheduled to be sentenced in January.
