The Islamic State terrorist group on Friday released a new video featuring a Hebrew-speaking jihadist militant threatening to attack Israelis in Jerusalem and worldwide.
The masked jihadist, dressed in military fatigues and holding a rifle, threatens “soon there will be no more Jew in Israel,” in the video that was posted by the terrorist group’s Syrian branch, the Jerusalem Post reported.
“We will enter al-Aqsa mosque as conquerors, using cars as bombs to strike the Jewish ramparts,” the militant says in the video, referring to the holy site revered by both Muslims and Jews that has been the epicenter of recent street violence in Jerusalem.
“Do what you will in the meantime until we reach you,” the militant continues. “Then we will charge you ten-fold for the crimes” you have committed against the Palestinian people, he said, the Jerusalem Post reported.
“We assure you that soon there will not be a single Jew left in Jerusalem and throughout the country,” adding “we will move to eradicate the disease” of the Jewish people “worldwide.”
The video comes just three days after the terrorist group released a similar video urging Palestinians to carry out more attacks against Jews. The video was one of the group’s first propaganda forays into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
A new report by The Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor of MEMRI (the Middle East Media Research Institute) said the Islamic State has launched a media campaign releasing a series of videos in support of terror attacks and encouraging Palestinians to carry out more.
Islamic State does not have an operational presence on the ground in Israel, but its propaganda over the Internet has proved influential, with a handful of Israelis joining the fundamentalist movement in recent months, the Jerusalem Post reported.
