SUMMERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A southeastern Michigan man says six guns worth hundreds of dollars were stolen from his home in a burglary.

The Monroe News ( ) reports the break-in took place Thursday at the 30-year-old man’s Summerfield Township home. Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reports say the man told authorities that he came home and found a side door kicked in. The guns and a $400 gun safe were missing.

The man told the sheriff’s office that about 1,000 rounds of ammunition were also taken, as were computers and a flat-screen TV.
