BOONSBORO, Md. (AP) - Investigators say a woman was killed in a house fire in Boonsboro.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire broke out around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. Firefighters placed it under control in about 35 minutes.

The woman’s body was found in the first-floor living room of the two-story single-family home. No one else was injured.

The office says investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire and where it started. No evidence of accelerants was found.

The woman’s body was taken to the Chief Medical Examiner’s office to confirm her identity and how she died.
