LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say both escaped prisoners who stole a correctional officer’s car to escape from a boot camp program near Las Vegas, have been found.

The Nevada Department of Corrections said Wednesday that Las Vegas police arrested 18-year-old Shane Perez-Vallestro in west Las Vegas at about 3:45 p.m. Earlier police arrested 23-year-old Marvin Baldridge and found the stolen Nissan Altima near the M Resort casino-hotel in Henderson, Nevada.

The two were last seen at 4 a.m. Wednesday at Three Lakes Valley Boot Camp near the Southern Desert Correctional Center, north of Las Vegas before escaping.

Both men were in the 190-day diversionary boot camp program designed for first-time felony convictions.

Perez-Vallestro was convicted of attempted home invasion and Baldridge was convicted of obtaining and using personal identifying information.
