CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) - Four teens and young adults have been charged in connection to a Canon City High School break-in.

The Canon City Daily Record reports (https://bit.ly/1ipFGVF ) that prosecutors say the suspects, ranging in age from 18 and 23, were high on mushrooms and marijuana during the incident. They were formally charged on Wednesday and Thursday.

They’re accused of entering the school on Oct. 18 and stealing or breaking items with a total estimated value of $4,000. a model wooden house, thermostat, ceiling tiles, locks, double door, clock, broom, iPod, clothes, hammer, hard drives, screwdriver, jacket and ice cream bars.
