FLANDREAU, S.D. (AP) - The city of Flandreau is in need of a new police chief for the fifth time in the past two years.

KSFY-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1iq0TyW ) that Chief Anthony Schrad has stepped down to take a job offer in Iowa, where his family has relatives and friends. He’d been chief for about six months.

The chief before Schrad left after just two weeks. Another chief retired in 2014, and one resigned in 2013 amid a criminal investigation.
