SHOW LOW, Ariz. (AP) - A 19-mile stretch of highway in eastern Arizona has reopened after being closed overnight because of an accident that caused a fuel spill.

The state Department of Transportation says State Route 77 between Show Low and Snowflake reopened Friday morning.

The accident occurred late Thursday about three miles north of Show Low. The department says it resulted in about 4,000 gallons of unleaded gasoline spilling on the highway and its shoulder.

The department says hazardous-material crews responded to the scene.

No additional information was immediately available.
