JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A 25-year-old Jackson man has been sentenced to serve 12 years in prison on a child pornography charge.

A news release from Attorney General Jim Hood says Cameron Travelstead was sentenced Thursday by Hinds County Circuit Judge Jeff Weil, Jr. on one count of possession of child pornography.

Travelstead was convicted by a Hinds County Jury on October 16.

Weil also sentenced Travelstead to five years of post-release supervision. He must also register as a sex offender upon release.
