BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Baton Rouge says a Livingston convicted sex offender arrested on 500 counts of possession of child pornography has been indicted.

Forty-year-old Anthony Kurtz was charged with distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography and forfeiture.

Prosecutors said in a news release Thursday Kurtz previously had been convicted of sexual assault and indecent assault in Pennsylvania.

In the current case, authorities say Kurtz’s porn had traveled across state and international lines. It depicted “pre-pubescent minors and minors who were under 12 years of age.”

Kurtz was arrested with other alleged sex offenders in a summer roundup.
