KENNER, La. (AP) - A Metairie man has been arrested in connection with a fatal traffic accident that happened in August.

The Aug. 17 crash killed 60-year-old Charles Angle of Kenner. His vehicle had collided with an SUV driven by 67-year-old John Reilly of Metairie.

On Friday, Kenner police announced that Reilly turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Reilly was charged with the crime of negligent homicide and traffic offenses including disregarding a red light.

The arrest came after witnesses reported that Reilly had disregarded a red light prior to the August collision. Reilly was in custody, pending the setting of bond, on Friday.
