WASILLA, Alaska (AP) - A man is in critical condition after he was stabbed Thursday night outside a Wasilla school.

Alaska State Troopers say 33-year-old Daniel Cochrane of Wasilla is being held on suspicion of attempted murder in the attack.

Troopers just after 10 p.m. took a call that Cochrane was attacking a man outside the school.

Troopers say the man was stabbed multiple times and sustained life-threatening injuries.

Troopers found Cochrane in Palmer.

Investigators say Cochrane was mad at the other man because of a personal matter and ambushed him as he left work.

Online court documents do not list charges in the case or an attorney for Cochrane. Cochrane remained jailed Friday morning at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.
