MONUMENT VALLEY, Utah (AP) - The stabbing death of a man found along State Route 163 is being investigated as a homicide.

KSL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1P3clPn) the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office and Utah Highway Patrol responded to a call from a motorist who said a body was lying behind a stopped vehicle.

The sheriff’s office says 32-year-old Rojear Nelson of Monument Valley was pronounced dead at the scene. He had sustained multiple stab wounds to the abdomen.

Deputies spotted Nelson’s brother, 34-year-old Rodale Nelson, nearby. He was taken into the sheriff’s office for questioning.

No arrests have been made.
